It’s been almost six months since I visited the second-largest city in Switzerland the last time. Geneva is a vibrant lakeside city recognised for its beauty and charm. It is one of the most important centres for international organizations and political decision-making.
The prosperous city is also the home to renowned 200-year-old Swiss private banks, Lombard Odier & Co, Pictet & Cie and Mirabaud & Cie, making it a popular place for independent wealth managers. However, the key reason for the business trip comes with a small honour for me – being part of the wealth management industry.
Over the past few months, I’ve reviewed many applications for an award program focused on the financial industry. I cast my vote, along with other selected judges. The process was challenging. Some award categories tie closely to the daily work of an independent wealth manager. Still, choosing my favorite wasn’t easy. The submissions were well-structured, but it took effort to decide.
Now, I’m hoping my black-tie suit still fits. The ceremony venue always buzzes with excitement and anticipation. Iβm looking forward to it. I feel grateful for the chance to be a judge. Moreover, I’m proud to be part of a globally recognized industry. This industry consistently provides top-tier service to both local and international clients.
Also, I’m thankful for the opportunity to participate as a judge. Being part of this best-in-class, worldwide industry fills me with pride. The level of service it offers, whether to local or international clients, is unmatched.
