✨ What golf in Crans-Montana taught me about wealth, AI and leadership…
This weekend in Crans-Montana – the home of my wife – I was reminded at the European Masters how closely sport, business and wealth are connected.
Standing at the fairway, you see how one single stroke can change everything. Precision matters. However, it is equally important to maintain calmness, manage risks, and always keep the long-term strategy in mind. That is precisely how wealth management—and business leadership—work.
👉 Golf teaches patience. Small, consistent actions add up to significant results.
👉 Golf demands strategy. You plan not only the next stroke, but the whole game.
👉 Golf is about values. Fairness, respect and responsibility – also essential when managing capital or building sustainable businesses.
While watching the players, I realised again:
Success is never a sprint, but a marathon. Not luck, but discipline, resilience, and the willingness to keep learning.
This lesson also applies to wealth management and the current AI-driven world. Technology changes the environment as quickly as the mountain wind changes a golf ball’s path. The winners are those who combine precision with adaptability, ambition with responsibility.
For me, that is the real fascination of this tournament in the Alps: golf as a living metaphor for long-term value creation, wise decision-making, and responsible leadership.
