Three weeks. Three cities.

Two of the most dynamic financial regions outside Europe.

In February, I left Zurich and spent time in the United Arab Emirates — with stops in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

What stood out immediately was the pace, the ambition and the willingness to act. A real can-do mentality: ideas are not just discussed — they are tested and built.

I remain convinced that the UAE will continue to strengthen its position as a global wealth and financial hub. Not necessarily for today’s generation of wealth holders alone, but increasingly for the next generation of global capital. As global wealth grows, jurisdictional diversification will only become more relevant.

From Abu Dhabi, I travelled on to Singapore, where I spent two very productive weeks. Our business in the region is developing strongly — with continued expansion, diversification and growth in assets.

What I found remarkable across both regions is a shared mindset: optimism, openness to ideas and a clear bias towards execution.

After three intense weeks, I am now back in Zurich — grateful for the many conversations and perspectives gained along the way.
