When summer hits our office, things heat up… and cool down. At the same time, we run twelve seasons.
Let’s talk about the real challenge of modern work life having four official seasons: Finding a temperature everyone agrees on.

Yes, it’s summer in Zurich. The lake is sparkling, the ice cream shops are thriving — and in the office? Thermal chaos.
One person’s in a ski jacket.
Another’s in shorts.
Someone is sweating under a blanket.
And someone else clutches hot tea, while glaring at the open window.
❄️ What’s the “ideal” office temperature?
Experts say: 21–23°C.
Science claims: that’s perfect for productivity.
The human body replies: “lol no.”
At 21°C? Half the team files for frostbite.
At 23°C? The other half demands ice packs.
At 22°C? Everyone’s unhappy — just for different reasons.
🌱 Enter the mighty cooling ceiling
In Zurich, air conditioning is out. Sustainability wins! ♻️ Full exposure to seasons.
Instead, we rely on cooling ceilings: quiet, clean, clever.
But also moody, slow to react, and… completely useless once someone opens a window.
(And someone always opens a window.)
