The case manufacturer Rimowa brought the Bag2Go concept to series with the Electronic Tag. Instead of using a paper bag tag, travellers can use an app to transfer their bag tag to the case’s E-Ink display.

As a result, it looks incredibly cool. You can put the address, a photo or anything else on your suitcase display via an app. It’s unique in contrast to the dull suitcase labels, which get lost now and then.

Even if it’s not official, Rimowa’s e-luggage tag is history again two years after its introduction. Manufacturers and production partners keep a low profile on the subject.

However, this doesn’t matter. Nonetheless, it looks cool and labelling the suitcase the traditional way even with a frequent flyer tag is something for once a year travellers.

Pros: cool, state-of-the-art
Cons: Remove Battery on certain carriers
